Sam Kawsarani is a product leader who can synthesize market trends into visions, loves to build product strategy with an entrepreneurial mindset, and drives growth by staying nimble and innovative. My track record consists of a long history of successes, failures, and hard lessons. Even though my sweet spot has always been zero to one, these days, I’m obsessed with optimization and scale. I lead by example, lead to serve others and lead to inspire. I am passionate about combining the best of technology, data and design to execute a successful product vision. Sam has been in tech as a founder and product manager for 15+ years, spending much of that time in the trenches—building teams, creating products, and facing the everyday realities of leadership. Sam has had his fair share of successes, failures, and hard lessons that taught him that success in product isn’t about big ideas or shiny buzzwords. It’s about execution, leading with empathy, and staying focused on what really matters: delivering value. Currently, Sam is the VP of Product at Paramount Commerce, a leading FinTech provider of pay-by-bank solutions out of Toronto, and coaches product managers and founders, typically on areas like levelling up their PM career and setting up their product operating model. When not doing product or working on his newsletter (The Product Trench), Sam is being a husband, a dad (both 👶 & 🐺), or working out at a CrossFit gym.
